Our mission

About Insurhi

Who we are

Insurhi is an independent insurance data and claims research organization. We publish the Insurhi Rating Framework (IRF), structured coverage research, claim documentation playbooks, and anonymized case studies—not insurance sales or quote services.

Editorial principles

  • Methodology first: we document how products and guides are researched in our public methodology page.
  • No paid placement: carriers cannot buy rankings. Affiliate relationships, when present, are disclosed and do not change editorial order.
  • Category accuracy: auto, home, life, pet, Medicare, and renters content is written separately—no mixed advice.
  • Scenario-based guidance: deep guides include real claim and buying scenarios, not generic SEO filler.

Corrections

Found an error? Email editorial@insurhi.com with the page URL and what looks wrong. We aim to review and publish corrections within 48 hours on material factual issues.

Editor-reviewed August 2026: Insurhi publishes independent insurance data and claims research for U.S. readers. Content is reviewed by named category editors and updated when carrier disclosures, regulations, or claim workflows change materially.

Insurance-specific analysis

We focus on coverage wording, exclusions, claim triggers, pricing context, and provider behavior rather than generic personal finance advice.

Visible methodology

Product and provider recommendations are tied to documented criteria including coverage clarity, claim experience, pricing signals, and consumer suitability.

Named expert review

Guides, playbooks, and coverage briefs are reviewed by researchers with published profiles, years of experience, and category focus.

How we work

From policy research to published guidance

Insurhi is built for readers who need clarity before a purchase or a claim—not marketing copy dressed up as advice.

01

Source the policy evidence

Researchers compare carrier forms, state filings, public disclosures, and documented claim workflows before drafting.

02

Write for real decisions

Guides and comparisons focus on coverage limits, exclusions, pricing context, and claim triggers—not generic finance advice.

03

Expert category review

Each piece is reviewed by a named expert focused on the relevant line—auto, property, life, Medicare, pet, or claims.

04

Publish and correct

Material updates and reader corrections are reviewed against source documents and republished through our editorial workflow.

Advisory board

External advisors on methodology & claims research

Advisory board members provide periodic methodology and claims-research feedback. They do not sell insurance, file claims for readers, or receive pay-for-placement fees from Insurhi.

Editorial independence

Research-first guidance, not paid rankings

Commercial relationships never determine product placement. Our experts score coverage clarity, pricing context, and claim experience using a documented methodology—and readers can challenge our work.

Funding & independence

Insurhi is funded through editorial operations and disclosed affiliate relationships. Revenue does not determine IRF rankings, playbook order, or case selection.

Revenue sources

  • Display advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) when enabled on the site.
  • Affiliate links to carriers or partners, disclosed inline where present.
  • No pay-for-placement, sponsored rankings, or carrier-funded score adjustments.

What revenue does not buy

  • Higher IRF dimension scores or overall ratings.
  • Preferred ordering in guides, playbooks, or category hubs.
  • Inclusion or exclusion from the claims case library.
  • Undisclosed edits to methodology weights or review criteria.
